Florida’s Tree Masters (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website at floridastreemasters.com and related tools including our Tree Identifier and Cost Calculator. We’re a tree service company based in Central Florida, Florida — not a tech company. We keep things simple, and that goes for your privacy too.
This policy explains what information we collect, why, and what we do with it. The short version: we collect what we need to answer your questions and give you estimates. We don’t sell your data. Period.

When You Contact Us
If you call, text, email, or fill out a form on our site, we collect the information you give us — typically your name, phone number, email, address, and details about the tree work you need. We use this to get back to you, schedule estimates, and provide service.
When You Use the Tree Identifier
Our Tree Identifier tool lets you upload a photo to identify a tree species. Here’s what happens:
- Your photo is sent to our server and processed by an AI model (Anthropic’s Claude) for identification
- We do not store your photos after identification is complete — they’re processed in memory and discarded
- We don’t attach your photos to any personal information
- No account or login is required to use the tool
When You Use the Cost Calculator
The Cost Calculator runs entirely in your browser. Your inputs are not sent to our server or stored anywhere — it’s just a calculator.
Automatically (Website Analytics)
Like most websites, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how people find and use our site. This collects:
- Pages you visit and how long you stay
- How you found us (Google search, direct, referral)
- General device info (browser, screen size, mobile vs. desktop)
- Approximate location (city-level, not your address)
Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone. If we’re ever required to share information by law (court order, subpoena), we’ll comply as required — but that’s never happened and we don’t expect it to.
Data Security
We use HTTPS encryption across our entire website. Our hosting provider maintains server-level security. We don’t store sensitive financial information — we don’t process payments through our website.
No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable precautions to protect your information.
Your Rights
You can:
- Ask what we have — contact us and we’ll tell you what personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to delete it — we’ll remove your information from our systems upon request
- Opt out of analytics — use the Google Analytics opt-out add-on or adjust your browser’s cookie settings
- Unsubscribe — if we ever send you marketing emails, there will always be an unsubscribe link
Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are intended for homeowners and property managers. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we’ll delete it.
Changes to This Policy
If we make significant changes to this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. We’re a tree company — our privacy practices don’t change often.
